Interning at Ogilvy and Mather India

Being a part of India's IT industry is a dream for any budding tech graduate as me.I  wanted to get an experience of the tech world as it was,and take up and work on some core areas in which i was interested a lot.Though i could not make it to any of the companies due to some unavoidable circumstances,I got an exciting opportunity to work for Ogilvy and mather,one the most respected PR  firms we have known


.Life at Ogilvy is both fun and exciting.The  Ogilvy and Lenovo hub at bagamane tech park in Bangalore provided the  experiences which i have dreamed of .

This internship program not only provided me the exposure required to be a part of a large organization,but also improve my socializing  mechanisms with other people from various backgrounds.



The creative stuff made at ogilvy is truly amazing and of high quality.

I feel lucky to be part of such a team which not only creates but also provides new and interesting concepts for ads regarding lenovo and IBM.

    Frankly speaking its very hard to get an internship in such a reputed agency,Most of my fellow interns were from the States and reputed B schools,contact their office and find out if they have anything that suites your profile

    Hi Pooja

    You need to follow the heads of Ogilvy's Divisions be it Creative,Copywriting or Print Media. They generally put these opportunities in their twitter streams. If you want to go into creative,make sure you have a sample portfolio of yours ready.

Like, u said that if i want to go for creative than i've to be ready with the portfolio and all. Can you please elaborate like what kind of portfolio it should be, a lil more info about it cuz i'm totally new to this.

    You should perhaps go for a career counselling session that would help.I am not into Advertising so my knowledge about that area is quite limited.

    Hi Purva

    You just need to look out for their notifications.They generally do it through Twitter/Facebook and blogs. Decide on which department you want to work in O&M before you apply.They cleary look for a purpose before considering your Application and you need to have a solid reason in order to Work there.
